Hey man! I've been meaning for months now to send you a message and some thanks for a great job in Chicago, almost a year ago now! I assume you saw it in the movie, but the stuff we shot that week made a huge impact on the film. Really. The Lord of the Rings crew down in New Zealand did the majority of the Chicago reconstruction and they were delighted with the breadth and quality of what you shot.

Obviously it did the job of placing Will Smith and his world into Chicago in a way no one imagined possible when they sent us out with a couple of still cameras and a video tape. You should be very proud of work well done. (OK, so we moved a few buildings round... I tried to stop them, I swear!)

Anyway, I just wanted to say, "Hi!" "Thanks!" and "It all worked really great!"

I hope we can work together again. I look forward to it.
